A recent outstanding achievement by Leigh at Otago Polytechnic in New Zealand is a reversal in copyright policy: employees of the Polytechnic now have copyright ownership of their work. This paves the way for the widespread use of Creative Commons licences to facilitate the widespread sharing of educational material.
